10 Catholic Apps

September 12, 2017

With most smart phones practically becoming an additional body part, it's important to know that we can use our smartphones not only for selfies, but for others. Here are 10 Catholic Apps you might want to check out:

1. Bible - Just like it says! While keeping a Bible with you at all times is awesome, it can be hard to lug it around with you. This app gives you the full Revised Standard Version Catholic Bible, and even gives you the readings you would hear at mass.

2. Laudate - There's so much stuff in this one app I'm not even going to try describing it; daily readings, a full Bible, a guide to help you follow along with mass (in both Latin and English) and the rosary. You just need to check it out!

3. MassTimes - If your family travels a lot to take you or your siblings to mass (or if you're on the road), this is a great app that can help you find out where the closest Catholic church is, even telling you when Mass is!

4. Confession - This sacrament is so awesome, but sometimes it can be hard for us to actually go. This app helps you figure out how you can get the most out of it.

5. DuCat - Want to know how to put your faith into action? Released at World Youth Day, this app is a great guide to show you how to live out being a Catholic, both on the field and in the classroom.

6. iMissal - Have you ever wondered how a priest does Mass? Do you want to go a little deeper in your appreciation or understanding? This app actually gives you the rubrics and instructions that priests follow at mass.

7. iBreviary - The Liturgy of the Hours are a great way to keep your prayer life stable, but learning it can be tricky. This is a great way to help you learn!

8. PopeEmoji - Yes, there are Catholic Emojis, and this app has tons of them.

9. myParish - Helps you find Bullitens, Examinations of Conscience, Prayers and more!

10. LifeTeen

Note: Some of these apps may not be on other smartphones. All of these I have recommended are available for iPhones.
