In the midst of all the chaos happening around us; fires, hurricanes and even earthquakes, it's important to look for signs of hope.

16 Years ago, our country suffered a great tragedy; why such tragedies are needed to bring out the best of people, only God can know and answer.

Fr. Mychal Judge, a fireman and a chaplain, was the first victim that was brought out of Tower 1. But he wasn't the only priest in or near the towers. I really recommend reading this article that has several stories: http://www.catholicnewsagency.com/news/the-brutal-powerful-911-stories-of-catholic-priests-57009/

If you're looking for witnesses, one woman who survived actually came to my university and spoke. Her witness is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7DGjP21bbw&list=LLra7UbUnSUw9__tjDA1-k3g&index=197

Another witness, which actually is even more amazing, can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8toQOVLVsDk&index=17&list=LLra7UbUnSUw9__tjDA1-k3g

Winston Churchill gave what many consider to be the best college speech ever: "Never ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever give up."

Even in the rubble of our lives, God is there.

Never forget
